Training Levels
Every pup has a place in the Pack - Here, you can browse through the levels of training that we offer. We encourage you to join the waitlist for a free evaluation so that we can develop a unique dog training plan that will best suit your pal’s individual needs and pace.
Level 1 — The Basics
Evaluation
Evaluation is the best place for any dog to start! Allowing to see your dog’s obedience, impulse, and frustration levels allows us to understand where they should start training. This also gives us the opportunity to define your current issues and future goals for you and your canine companion.
Private Sessions
Private sessions are a fantastic option for clients with varying schedules making it difficult for them to consistently attend a group class! This is also a fantastic option for hyper reactive or fear based cases, as to not overwhelm the dog and allow them to work in the comfort of their home.
Level 2 — Beginners
From puppy training courses to adult obedience for your new rescue - we have you covered. We offer a wide range of courses to serve as a starting point for any dog.
Puppy’s First Class
This class encompasses potty training, crate training, and very basic commands that will teach your puppy how to work.
Adult Rescue Obedience
This class caters to newly rescued or adopted canine companions to learn impulse control, loose leash walking, and building a foundation of trust.
Adolescent Obedience
For dogs 6+ months in age to learn basic obedience including impulse control, loose leash walking, stay, and recall.
Intro to Therapy
A remastered version of Adolescent Obedience for our juniors looking to join Caring Canine’s Therapy Program who still need to finish their prerequisites.
Level 3 — Intermediate
Once your companion has a firm foundation of behavior expectations, we recommend moving up in difficulty to introduce concepts beyond basic obedience.
Ask about higher levels of private training!
Once your dog has achieved its obedience goals, now the fun really begins! These private lessons are great for hunting, fjorring (single dog sledding), basic nose work or basic agility/rally.
Obedience II
This second level of obedience class follows Adult Rescue Obedience, Adolescent Obedience, and Intro to Therapy. Here, we will spend the first half of the class learning a very purposeful heel, reaction to distractions, and high-level impulse control. The second half will take place in real world environments such as parks or retail centers, allowing you to have guided, group practice to fully ensure your dog responds to the commands given!
